ZMA(B)K Series control valves are designed with forged block and connected to the line by flange face contoured ends. The valves have balanced or unbalanced trim and metal seat ring. The valves are always equipped with a positioner.
The ZMA(B)K Series valves employs the principle of “Adiabatic Flow with Friction” reduce pressure, much like the gradual
pressure loss which occurs in a long pipe line. This effect is produced by reducing the fluid pressure through multiple small steps. As a result, cavitation and the associated phenomena of noise and trim erosion are highly reduced or entirely canceled.
