Suction valve and check valve are to be installed respectively at the inlet and outlet side of the Hi-press heater. These tow valves must be used at the same time. Check valve shall close the discharge outlet of the hi-pressure heater when the suction valve shut off the inlet. While water shall be fed into the furnace via the by-pass and the Hi-press heater will stop to work and thus protected.
